Failed. End of the story. I tried plugging it in after the computer booted up, I tried booting the computer with the thing plugged in. The computer never recognized that anything was plugged in. Then why am I giving it three starts instead of one? Because I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. See, I've seen reviews of these things saying they don't work on Windows Vista. And if it doesn't work in Vista, there's a good chance it won't work in Windows 7 either. Also, I've seen other articles saying they only work on certain types of keyboards. The KEYBOARD must support the ability to use the USB port. Considering my dad tried this on his XP too. a netbook that recognized something was plugged in but didn't USE it. I bet it's a combination of both. On the other hand, it gets 3 stars for ONLY two reasons: 1, if I knew it wasn't. not compatible (assuming that's the problem) I would never buy it. And 2, there is no real reason why it will NOT work on newer Wi versions. nous.
