Review on Phlizon 900W LED Plant Grow Light Full Spectrum Daisy Chain Double Switch For Indoor Plants Veg And Flower-900W by Kathleen Herrera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great as a supplemental source of grow light

I am currently using 4 - 600w LED's in conjunction with a 315w CMH in a 5x5 tent The CMH is in the middle of the tent as the primary light source; the 4 smaller 600w LED's are on the sides. I am very happy with the lights. I may be overdoing the amount of light a little. but, I want to make sure that the "babies" are happy. Overall total wattage is about 795w (315 for the CMH and about 480 in LED, a total of 795w; the CMH actually only generate about 120w of useable light per each fixture, so 4 lights x 120 w equals 480w of usable led light). The lights generate very little heat. and are quiet; I cannot hear the fans over the 6" exhaust system I have running. I would not recommend using the 600w for your primary source for anything lager than a 2x2 tent/area. They do make the 1200w, but it is all one fixture and the lighting is focused to a very narrow path under the light. I prefer using more of the lower wattage fixtures so I can hang them around the tent in 4 spots, versus 1 spot. It helps with the coverage and cross over of light patterns. Also, from what I have read, it is always good to have a mixture of light sources in your grow to adequately cover the needed light spectrum, so this is why I have mixed the LED and the CMH.
