My set didn't fit and didn't have holes for the pins.
I have used both original and conventional supports for many years and no problems. Although I don't normally use pen slots, except when using a lintel clasp, they don't have this hole. I've always found that utility poles have a slight click when they mate. It's not like this. In fact, some of the metal tabs hung lower than others, making assembly awkward. I'm not saying their entire line is bad - obviously people like them. But my set was far inferior to Powerwerx and Connector Pros.
