Wonderful for tile floors in the bathroom or kitchen! It's very spongy and squishy and really helps my back, knees, ankles, and hips while pregnant and standing a long time. The mat is comfortable and helps me tremendously! I haven't had it for too long to be able to really comment on it's actual durability but seems to be holding up well. I do have other similar mats that are just a touch firmer and give a little bit more support though. It is high profile and takes some getting used to and I've tripped over it a couple times, so just something to be aware of. It also grips the floor well and once placed doesn't skid or move easily. For as much as I do like it, I wish it was just a little bit firmer as it doesn't feel like it will last for years like my other mats have.
