These headphones meet most of my needs but one important one. At $99, not having a 3.5mm adapter is just a dumb cost-cutting move. I know you could turn it on. I've bought a lot of $99 headphones that came with an adapter. I can actually use these headphones with the $7 adapter I bought. Can I still recommend these headphones? Yes, just note that you will need a 6.3mm to 3.5mm adapter (standard headphone jack) to be able to use these if you don't have audio hardware like me. The sound and comfort are great, I would happily recommend these ATH-M40x headphones that I have tried before. Despite the annoying lack of adapters in the box, these headphones are a good choice for the average person who wants to listen to quality music.
