I haven't washed them yet, so I don't know about fraying, but I bought these for backpacking/camping. We may end up getting another one to keep in the Jeep to dry off the dog. I bought one from this company and one set from another company (so that we could compare), and they're very similar. We are excited to take them with us on our adventures this summer, and I like how light and compact they are.
