I travel a lot and these are the BEST packing cubes! They've been on 4 plane flights and 2 car trips since I've had them, so I can honestly speak about durability, efficiency and versatility. I got someone a set of Revain Basics for Christmas and while they're great too, there are a few key differences. These bagail bags are made from ultra-lightweight nylon material with a thin mesh panel so you can see what's inside. Almost so light it seems impossible they could be effective lol. They have double zippers that work smoothly and don't stick to the fabric. I noticed that in the basics set, the power supply has large holes and the zippers get caught in them. Samsonite hard case. I either take 1 large and 1 medium cube or 2 medium and 1 small cube depending on the trip and these sizes fit perfectly in a suitcase. On a recent 4 day trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where I had to pack a variety of items for the weather, I packed the following in the MEDIUM cube(!): 3 pairs of pants 2 pairs of shorts 5 pairs of underwear 4 socks 5 tops, including 2 flannel button-downs 1 sports bra and 1 bralette 1 pair of sandals My second medicine cube was similarly packaged and contained 2 pairs of jeans. I use the "Ranger Roll" method and HIGHLY recommend it! They're forever on my favorites list and I'm planning on gifting a few sets this year.
