Really wanted to love these. They wanted to replace my Hifiman HE400i ($169) which sounds amazing for the price but feels a bit cheap. To me the T60RP sounds slightly better than the Hifiman apart from a smaller soundstage. They are definitely the best looking and so sexy that they are worth the extra money. However, after about 10 minutes of listening, the right-hand driver began to buzz below average on all frequencies. My heart has been broken. I tried everything - burned them all weekend, tried several different sources - but the hum never stopped. Research has shown that I am not the only one who has had this experience. As much as I wanted to keep them or trade them for another pair, I had to let them go. Too bad, these are beautiful headphones. It's also worth noting that they have zero downforce. If, like me, you're listening to music in bed or in an armchair, be prepared for the music to keep slipping out of your headโthis isn't a hindrance, just a mild annoyance. I might try them again one day, but at this price point it's safer to just go with the legendary HD600s. I've never had any problems with a pair of Sennheisers.
