Actually Love These Curtains; Holdbacks/Ties Fell Apart

This does not actually deserve a one star rating but I wanted to be sure anyone sitting on the fence and reviewing the negative reviews would see it. I would gladly give these curtains five stars but the string part of the ties/holdbacks just started coming apart after 9 months. The curtains are lovely and really make the room they are in beautiful -- it has become our favorite room in the house and these curtains are part of the reason. But the ties falling apart is very disappointing -- note that the string is a different material from the rest of the curtain and the rest of the ties/holdbacks and the curtains and the non-string parts of the ties/holdbacks are fine. We are going to get some light chains or other adaptation for the ties/holdbacks. To clarify, there is not any strain on these strings, there is no tension, there is no anything, not even excessive light and they just started separating, one by one, mostly just one side (there is a string on both sides) and right in the middle. We are down five over the last three weeks or so. I would buy these curtains again, despite this, that's how much we like them.
