I measured my own head and then had it measured for me. They matched, so I ordered. Hats marked medium are almost always too large for me. This hat had a more refined sizing chart available so I held a little hope that I would not have to return it for a smaller size. It fits like a glove! I love this hat and can hardly wait for nicer weather to wear it.
