This is an electric kettle. There isn't much. I like that it heats water quickly due to the wide heating surface inside. I also appreciate the indicator on the handle that shows how much water is in the pot - a feature I didn't notice when choosing an item. I also didn't notice the fine filter inside, a nice feature but it clogs the opening. The base and button look a bit too chromed plastic, but functionally ok. I've noticed that if I remove the pan from the base before it clicks, it doesn't click, which I don't like. As for the taste of the plastic, upon receipt I hand washed it with a nylon brush and soapy water followed by a vinegar rinse. I didn't notice any plastic taste. All in all, it's what you expect: a stylish kitchen gadget that heats water.
