Cheap plastic thermometer deforms when heated
Why make a product with a plastic thermometer body when the pot is heated to over 200 degrees? Temperature sensors must be made of glass. It is already deformed and will come off soon. The device would be useless if you didn't have an accurate temperature reading without a working sensor. I also found that it was leaking at the weld point of the handle. I'll get back to you as soon as I find a suitable replacement.
