Review on Sanus Advanced Tilt Premium Mount by Tim Pulse

So there are cheaper TV mounts out there, but I didn't want to hang a heavy and expensive TV on a $30 bracket. Sanus makes a great product. Everything is well packed. The instructions are amazingly clear and give you a template to find holes in the wall. I was so used to seeing muddled instructions with almost no description of what to do that it was such a pleasant surprise. Separate instructions are provided for concrete structures and/or metal posts instead of traditional wooden posts (although I believe metal posts require separate purchase of hardware - check manufacturer's website for access to installation manual). In terms of features, you can adjust the height, side position, orientation, tilt and distance from the wall after hanging the TV, which is phenomenal. Also, being able to move the TV a few inches away from the wall really helps with accessing the power supplies and A/V ports. Installation was easy. You need a second person to hang up the TV. Also make sure you have a stud finder, screwdriver, tape measure, spirit level, drill bit and a set of socket wrenches. I also used an awl to find the center of the studs, but you can use a nail. In general very satisfied. If I ever need another mount, I will 100% choose Sanus.
