I totally admit - I am an accessory hunting dog. Glasses, of course, a diary, an umbrella. They can all only be functional. But if they can be beautiful AND high quality, I'm a sucker. This umbrella goes perfectly with my image of a New Yorker in a Burberry trench coat walking through the park. It doesn't matter that I live in Los Angeles and only have a few rainy months a year. I love it. Its canopy is big enough for me to walk under with two small children and we all stayed dry. The opening and closing mechanisms are light, smooth-running and appear durable. The only downside is that it's very heavy, especially the handle. However, I am sure that it contributes to its stability. But you can think of something lighter when you have to hold a baby in one hand and an umbrella in the other.
