Review on Relassy Aquarium Dimmable Saltwater Spectrum by Travion Matias

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Built like a tank, good base stats.

I have several AquaIllumination lights in my main reef aquarium, as well as EcoSmart lights and some standard LEDs. I was interested in testing this version of "Relassy" and seeing how it works. When the review unit arrived for review, the first thing that struck me was how heavy it is. It weighs around 6 pounds, which is a lot compared to other similar devices. Just make sure your installation supports it. The metal frame is rigid and structurally strong. It also dissipates the heat generated very well. This lamp can give off a lot of light. I think the coverage rate of 34"x24"x24" is good. There are 10 individual brightness levels for white/color and blue LEDs. You can also set up 10 different timer functions to turn them on. It is a bit more Programming is more complicated than say an app or software controller, but it gets the job done. By the way, don't lose the remote control or the instrument will be useless. It only has one power switch. All control is from the remote control. You can set it ON/OFF/AUTO I set the fade in and fade out effect 7am reset white/colors to level 1 and blue to level 2 9am reset white/colors to level 3 and blue to level 5 6pm on level 1/level 2 21:00 lvl0/lvl1 Blue stays on level 1 all night It can only control these 2 channels Red and green leds are grouped with white and you can't change that I think the light looks good not great but good. For a flashlight to start with, for the price it can provide good lighting for a medium sized aquarium. If all you want are basic lighting controls, I'm great. The sheer number of LEDs in the array works well together and reduces flicker a bit compared to a single LED setup like the Kessel. Another good light. Mushrooms, lollipops and various other LPS and fish seem to enjoy it. 4 stars for excellent workmanship.
