Review on Aquagear Water Filter Replacement Pitcher by Brett Tierney

waste of money. Filing a Consumer Complaint.

I bought the Aqua Gear jug knowing it would cost $50 to replace the filter, but it's not like I have to replace it every 1-2 months. I don't use it for bathing and for elephants, it's just drinking water for me and my 6 year old. The one I currently have is only 18 days old and takes 12 hours to filter drop by drop one step. This is UNACCEPTABLE and really deserves to be reported to the Consumer Protection Bureau. I bought water equipment to help my child diagnose ADHD through dietary changes like removing fluoride, lead, and being gluten and casein free. Aqua Gear water tastes good, but I've already spent enough on filters to install a reverse osmosis system in my sink. It's enough that I'm a single mom who pays for occupational therapy, group therapy, and private special education—do you think I have to add $50 a month to an Aquagear filter? I sent an email to Aqua Gear with no response. WHICH TYPE. TO KID. Next: a formal consumer complaint.
