attractive pattern and high quality

I don't quite understand what people who gave 1 star were expecting. It's very cheap but very beautiful. It appears to be heavy wool, but since it's listed as wool and cotton I don't know. It ties well and is comfortable, I actually get compliments on a regular basis. This is a thin checkered wool tie that performs its function as a tie flawlessly. I would buy more if I liked other colors.
