Buzzing/Squeaking and Dark Corners

FIX: Received a replacement unit and had the exact same issue. The device's control board makes an electronic buzz/squeak when the screen is on, and when the Android SBC does anything other than idle it makes a sound like an angry wasp is stuck inside. I also wanted to mention that the audio was terrible on both devices. I was planning on using a couple of bookshelf speakers with it anyway, but that's something to consider if you're looking to buy one of these Hisense TVs. Too bad the components for these TVs are so cheap. I'd happily pay an extra $50-$75 to make sure it doesn't make any noise and doesn't seem like it's going to stop working at any second. I sent this back. Instead, I'm going to try and get a computer monitor and just plug my devices into it to see something on it. --- I received a faulty unit and will update my review once a replacement arrives next week. For €300 I didn't have high expectations. on this device. To be honest, as long as the image wasn't blurry and there weren't any major imperfections, I would only deal with the cropped corners. Unfortunately I ran into a broken unit that started making a buzzing/squeaking noise about 15 minutes after putting it up (it sounded like an angry wasp had gotten stuck in its back lol). Another downside that I didn't notice initially but can now see in most people's photos is that the corners of the screen are darker than the rest of the display. It doesn't matter much on a dark background, but it's noticeable on a light background - even if you put the display in "Bright" mode and turn the backlight to maximum. It's not bad at this price point, but it would be nice to have a unified display backlight.
