Review on Rosewill RHCO-16001 Infrared Halogen Convection Technology Digital Oven with Extender Ring: Enhanced SEO-Friendly Product Title by Crystal Ford

Decent four stars, but definitely an economy model.

A few years ago I had a microwave/convection/spit combo that could cook almost anything. Meat, vegetables, even cookies. Unfortunately, that particular oven is no longer made, and the next similar microwave is well beyond my budget. . I'm very glad I did. I'm sure it won't last as long as other brands, but it seems to have the best balance of features and price. So far I've prepared veggies, frozen pizzas, and a variety of meats (from chicken fingers, breaded fish fillets, and 3-pound rotisserie chicken) and have not been disappointed. GOOD: Everything cooks quickly and evenly, regardless of the cooking method. The oven features time and temperature settings for grilling and air roasting, in addition to more traditional baking and roasting. The bowl and shelves are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. BAD: The lid can only be hand washed and cannot be submerged in water. So wiping with a damp sponge and then wiping with a paper towel is the best method. DANGEROUS: While this is more of a nitpick than an actual flaw, the lack of an included skillet makes air frying and baking a little less than easy. However, aluminum foil is an acceptable substitute. If you are looking for an economical convection oven this is the one for you, but if you have a few bucks more use it for a better model. Still, I'm giving it four stars for its versatility.
