They work exactly as advertised for lifting furniture. Made from durable ABS plastic with anti-slip pads on the top and bottom. My only issue is that the bed I am lifting has 4 thin casters that want to roll on a round flat surface so now the bed seems to be moving a bit. I should have ordered a type that had a specific notch for the wheels, or a different design that better suited my specific wheel/bed leg needs. My fault, not the manufacturer's. I push the bed against the wall, trying not to lean too much on the side of the bed that causes the wheels in the round top to want to move. There is a caster leg for any furniture that needs to be lifted away from my particular bed. that should work very well. Knowing how durable ABS plastic can be, I'd say it's great for heavier items like dressers, cubicles, and the like. Objects that cannot be driven.
