Bought this after seeing it on Geek & Sundry and loved it. My friend and I have played several times on just two players and unlike the previous reviewer had a great time. Yes, a player can technically have 8 actions in a row, but then you also open up the possibility for your opponent to do the same when it's usually much more logical to just take a few actions, skip your turn to see what the others do. The player does so and then re-rolls the remaining dice to answer them. There is so much flexibility in how you can manage your strategy based on what you throw, what frames are available and what guests you attract that every game feels different. A few draws that seemed crushingly powerful in one round had little to no impact on another playthrough. Atelier is a strange mix of job placement, territory control, happiness testing and engine building. I look forward to playing again. The only downside is that the rules in the booklet are absurdly vague, so I highly recommend checking out the walkthrough before playing.
