Review on TheraSpecs Migraine Sensitivity Photophobia Fluorescent Vision Care for Reading Glasses by Erin Young

I have been photosensitive (due to Lyme disease and my tendency to get light-induced migraines) for many years and have always been embarrassed to wear dark sunglasses in public places. I was able to find cheap "night driving goggles" with amber tinted lenses, but they didn't work well indoors. I was finally able to save up enough for these Theraspecs (this aviator style is the only one that covers most of the painful peripheral light). While they're quite pricey, they're pretty well made and I think they're worth the price (would be nice if they came with a hard case like my $20 dark polaroid sunglasses). * I read some old reviews. who claim that this company makes very weak/cheap frames, but with a pair of $10 yellow lens glasses (which I could use for a few more years), I can attest that Theraspecs frames are much stronger. However, they're not as useful for night riding as others (and not as good outdoors during the day), so I'd recommend Theraspecs indoors, dark polarized lenses outdoors during the day, and amber lenses outdoors at night. Ultimately, I am incredibly grateful that this lovely couple invented these glasses and made them available to light-sensitive people who desperately need them.
