In the photos, the balls for this marble walkway look at least as big as a golf ball. I figured it would be a safe alternative to the traditional smaller marble runs. nope Not really. They are actually probably a bit larger than regular marble, which can actually be a bit more dangerous. Marble can be swallowed. It looks finely calibrated to get stuck in the throat of anyone under the age of 10. It is also quite difficult to assemble. The slides aren't connected, so you'll have to build each one to the exact height of the others. My 17 year old boy who built the Death Star out of Lego was annoyed. It's a cheaper plastic than the Duplo which I was expecting, but for now it's just another smack for it.
