I bought this for our 5 month old husky puppy - he had some sort of skin condition which caused a few bald spots to appear on his muzzle - not quite bald, but enough for you to see. The vet said they looked more like an injury than anything since the underlying skin isn't typical of scabies (something else that can cause hair loss), but he had them for a few weeks (and the injury wasn't supposed to be like that take a long time). . The vet said we would need to do a skin scraping to rule out scabies which given the situation and the fact that he is a crazy husky means he needs to be sedated (I don't want to put a rag in his eye). scalpel I think), something we'd probably only reserve if he gets neutered (for at least another month). So I bought this in the meantime. First, he loves it. At home, we call it his "sauce" - a dollop of this in his food and a little stir in the bowl to distribute it and he's ready to go - he usually eats the whole meal at once. His fur is also changing, it seems to shed less; Let's start with the fact that the husky has an insanely thick coat (so much so that it's almost impossible to see his real skin).
