I bought this to protect my seat after driving through mud on my 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Four features impressed me: 1) the panel fits over the seat's headrest, allowing it to hang freely from the seat; 2) the non-slip bottom allowed me to get in and out of the car without the seat cover rolling under me; 3) gives my seat maximum coverage without interfering with the airbags that are located on the side of the bucket seat; & 4) It is 100% machine washable. When I'm not using it after a mud race, I use it in the passenger seat of my 11-pound terrier after a dusty mountain bike ride or hike. I plan to use it after trips to the beach and it works great on folding chairs too - for me and my pup. There are so many uses that it's obvious I need to buy a second one so my pup can have his own. ;-)
