Very light yet thick. Stand on it gently but firmly. I feel like I'm barely halfway through and it's not soft like memory foam but has good durability that's perfect for what it's used for. If you're using this at a standing desk (with socks) the 1" beveled edge is great for standing/hanging your heels on to stretch or massage the soles of your feet as it holds its shape really well. I'll take the second one to another room! I'm glad I have this size L, it fits perfectly and has enough room to walk on it and step from side to side.
