Review on πŸ›΄ Kids 3-Wheel Scooter for Ages 3-5, LED Light Up Wheels, Adjustable Height, Lean to Steer, Extra Wide Deck, Rear Brake - Ideal for Boys and Girls by Jesus Cordova

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My daughter (2) loves this scooter!

My son (5) has a Micro Mini Deluxe (currently $90 on Ebay) and has had it since before my daughter was born. He loves it, but my daughter also loves to scooter so she needed her own. She loves pink and I thought this scooter would be perfect for her. I was worried when it arrived because it seems to be a bit more sensitive than the Micro they've been sharing (see video), but she took to it immediately and hasn't had any problems riding it. Comparing the two scooters, this one is more sensitive to steering and the plastic foot part seems just rotate on a pole. It also makes tighter turns than the Micro. The Micro feels sturdier, but that might be because it has a higher weight limit (75 pounds). My son, who is about 56 pounds, can ride the pink scooter, but I worry about the ability of the plastic to hold his weight. Again, it's perfect for my 26-pound daughter though! The lights are a cool added bonus in my opinion, but I think it's weird that a pink scooter has wheel lights that alternate red and green. The lights also aren't super bright. They're like little colored dots.Assembly was a breeze, and although I doubt we will ever use it, the rubber strap to secure the removed handle to the base for transport is a nice feature. I also like how easy it is to adjust the handle height. The Micro has the ability to adjust to ANY height, whereas this scooter has a series of set heights, but the Micro is a pain to change because you have to tighten it so tight to keep it from moving that you need a wrench to loosen it every time. For the price, I would say this is a nice little scooter for a young child. I think 5 is pushing it age-wise. My son is 5 and he's about to level up to a 2-wheel Razor scooter this Christmas (some of his friends already have them).UPDATE 11/16/20: The lights are barely visible in the daytime, but really pop at dusk/dark. I just added a photo of the lights. They alternate colors - red and green. I still think this is an odd light color combo for a pink scooter, but my daughter loves it and my son wishes his scooter had lights (his is a Micro Mini Deluxe)!
