It's a simple product but it at least does what it's supposed to do! They were slightly larger and softer than the originals, which I consider a plus. They certainly feel like real silicone rubber to me - and yes, packs of 5 or 8 pairs cost significantly less per pair, but you'll be able to find them for years to come when you need another set, and wouldn't it be better, fresh to order stock when you do? It's interesting to read very few negative reviews - a poor guy somehow screwed it up with exorbitant shipping costs and two people seemed to be describing a different product. It is unlikely that a retailer will sometimes use lots from a poor quality supplier or that the supplier will have quality control issues, but the chances of getting a good pair are high. Silly caution (the wise learn from the mistakes of others): Use the BIGGEST jeweler's screwdriver you can find that fits the screw. This way there is less chance of slipping out of the slot and due to the orientation of the screws the screwdriver then slips right into the lens. Yes, I made a small scratch. It's not in my sight, but it's a failure in the relentless pursuit of excellence.
