Review on ๐Ÿ… Enhanced Franklin Sports Throw 'N Stick: Innovative Spring Grip for Powerful Throws! by Philip Latham

Probably won't last long

I have mixed feelings about these and first use left a bad taste in my mouth. Came out to use with my son right out of the box and one of the handles fell off one of the blades. I was able to fix it but it shouldn't be great on first use. There are two tabs on the paddle that hold the handle in place and I had to cut out the plastic connector on both so I could push the two tabs out further so they would actually snap onto the handle. It seems to work now and stay in place when we play, but I didn't have to do that and it leads me to believe that eventually those studs will break and the racquet will become unusable. Also, racquets really stick to the ball. Well, that's great. As other reviewers have pointed out, the ball itself is a little stiff and hurts when it hits you. It looks like a tennis ball but feels a bit denser and stiffer than a tennis ball and doesn't have the same bounce. This is strange because otherwise it looks exactly like a tennis ball. This is probably not good for young children who can often get hit by the ball if they are not coordinated enough to catch it regularly. I wish I could give this one more stars but I'm just guessing the grip issue won't last long and break easily. The spring action on the paddle is also pretty useless and doesn't really add to the fun. On the other hand, this item doesn't cost very much, so you can easily buy another one if it doesn't last long.
