why velvet? I bought it thinking it would be a velvet fabric cover or something; This is a type of sprayed velvet that sheds a lot. Rub them with your hands and they immediately leave behind microplastic residues. bad enough for the environment and definitely not something I want to rub into my shirts so I can breathe all day. They would be excellent without the spray coating
