Review on Elite Cuisine EGC-007 Easy Electric Egg Poacher: Cook Perfect Omelets & Boiled Eggs with Auto-Shut off & Buzzer - 7 Egg Capacity, White by Gregory Shorunov

I eat a lot of eggs because of my diet (laughs). So it's nice to have an easy, quick and less messy/complicated way to boil eggs. I use the poached egg the most, simply because I like slightly runny eggs. I've seen a lot of people reporting that plastic melts. Don't listen to them, they obviously haven't read the manual or can't follow instructions. You MUST place the hard boiled egg on top THEN the poached egg/omelet. Many also complained about the "burning" of the metal part. Again, if they had a red instruction, they would understand that it said to use distilled/bottled water instead of tap water, so it's not happy. Honestly, I'm surprised how many people here don't check for faults before leaving a review. The product is great and works great, you just have to follow the instructions. Not so tough people. Anyway, one thing that's a little annoying is the buzzer when it's done. I understand why it has to be loud, but I'm a very nervous person. Although I've used this thing more times than I can count, it still blew me away when it worked. I wish there was a feature where the sound starts out soft and then gradually gets louder like a kettle so it's not so sudden for us nervous people. Not a big deal, but it would make me love this thing a lot more. Additionally, if you need to clean a metal part, I recommend using warm water and white vinegar to remove any stains or stuck objects. Since you can't submerge an egg cooker or remove a metal object with soap, I don't do that just because it's difficult to clean without a chance of water getting into the egg cooker. I hope my review clarified some things for those who are about to get this. My biggest suggestion is when you get it, sit down and read ALL the instructions. You will get better results and make life a lot easier.
