I bought these because I was tired of coffee staining my teeth. I also wanted to stop throwing straws at the environment. What really attracted me were the colors and the material. It's basically Pyrex. They are not fragile. In addition, the ends are rounded so as not to damage them. They're also made in the USA, so I'm always happy to find an amazing product that I love and that can help the economy too.
