Perfect soundbar for LG TVs, no auto shut off and clear dialogues

I bought this soundbar and a similar Samsung to compare them personally before making a decision. I needed a soundbar that would work best with my LG TV and improve my ability to hear movie dialogue and automatically adjust the volume at night so I don't have to keep pressing the volume button. But most importantly, I wanted a soundbar that wouldn't turn itself off if I left it paused for a long period of time. Apparently this is a very complex function. With HDMI ARC, I could pause a Disney+ movie for over 45 minutes and it never turned off. I just hit the play button and the game continued. The Samsung, like every other soundbar I've seen, turns itself off after about 20 minutes and you have to fumble for the soundbar's remote to turn it back on. Another good thing about LG is that I can control the volume of the center channel separately since most of the dialogue happens on the center channel. This is one of the biggest advantages of a 3.1 soundbar over the TV's internal speakers. TVs and even 2.1 soundbars are often forced to mix 5.1 channels and dialogue gets muddy in the process. Combined with the wide dynamic range of Dolby Digital codecs, movies can be difficult to hear, especially if you're trying to listen to them in a quiet environment without waking the kids. Get this soundbar, it solves all these problems. Of course, I can only speak for people with newer LG TVs with an HDMI ARC port. Something special may be afoot that will allow the two LG products to talk to each other, preventing them from disconnecting. I've read that Samsung has better audio quality, but I can't imagine the average person would notice a difference. Personally, I found the LG audio to be brighter, which actually helps with intelligibility. Samsung appears to have a slightly larger subwoofer driver, but I'm not trying to rock the house. Comfort above all, choose LG.
