I use these toys as action figures on the school bus. I wanted to use them for preschool and kindergarten kids. but all children love them! From preschool to 5th grade. They love the sound they make when stretched and also love to bend and twist them into recognizable shapes. I found them quite durable. although one child managed to damage several ribs on a toy. Not bad considering all the benefits they receive. I recently sent my grandson (ages 2 and 4) a couple of boxes of pop whistles for his birthday. The two-year-old kept complaining that his brothers (aged 6 and 8) kept taking his crackers. I will buy them again for summer school and house guests only. Funny toy!
