I repaint my trailer tires every 3-4 years because the sun burns the life out of them. Hope they help, time will tell. I have 12 of these cases and they all have broken tip clips. Tighten to fit snugly, slide clip up to hold tension, release and neither of them hold. The string just sags again. I find that the spring in the clamp is not strong enough to hold the string.
