While it has worked phenomenally well over the years, there would definitely be a replacement for the old Ohaus Scout. However, parting with such small weights is a difficult decision. One of the reasons the Scout is difficult to replace is that it's very compact, lightweight and amazingly accurate to the tenth of a gram. Most readily available scales are either much larger or don't look very high quality. I came up with this YSGJ Gram Scale, 200gx 0.01g Pocket Size Digital Scale and Oz, 50g Calibration. I have to say that she has worked with honor so far. It has been used to weigh multiple items ranging from 15 to 62.22 grams with no problem. I am very happy with the design and ease of use. A really great feature is that this scale comes in the manufacturer's own self-contained hard case. I was able to print instructions for use on the underside of the lid. Bravo! Previously, with very limited use for weighing metal discs, this was very easy. Recommended.
