A few months ago I bought another transmitter and couldn't sync it to any transmitter other than one. So it was static with the music and it was driving me crazy. I thought I'd try again and this is definitely the thing. So you can switch to any station as long as it comes and is static in a certain range that you can change for the best possible sound. In addition, it connects to the phone via Bluetooth for calls. I currently use it with a USB drive, but it always has a card slot for a nice clean look.
