Use it on your sofa!

The most amazing things. I thought my sofa/daybed was the worst thing I've ever repaired myself. I've used professional leather towels and a leather compression press before and haven't noticed much of a difference. They both seemed to still be dry and I just thought that happened. Then I got a little obsessed with my upcoming move and realized I wanted to make one last try before deciding to ditch it. I looked at many options. Knowing motorcycle seats wear out, I figured this might be the best option. I was a little skeptical as the price seemed cheap to me if it did what it promised. It works out! I followed the blog post on Skidmore's website and, certain I wasn't going to leave it on for long (15-30 minutes max), polished it immediately. My husband has a sensitive nose and he said it was a strong smell. It didn't bother me at all. That's why it lost a star. I think that will bother some. At first the sofa looked a little rough, but it looked beautiful. It's softer the next morning. The website says you need to do this multiple times to see real results in dry areas. I will use it as directed and am sure I will be even happier with the look and feel of my sofa. It is non-greasy and does not rub off clothes after buffing and soaking/curing. I can't recommend it highly enough. *Note that my sofa is already a dark color so it doesn't actually get any darker. It just brought him back to life.
