I was torn between buying the Large and XLarge for my 70lb small and burly bully dog. I chose the large because the length measurement was closer to the large than the XLer size. It suits him. A little snug and the boning isn't against the body, but it still looks very cute on him and he LOVES wearing it! The hood that came with it was too big even for my dog's square head. Glowing bones are not very bright and can only be seen when they glow in total darkness. Turn into a fun night hunt when you first charge the glowing bones with a bright flashlight. Overall not perfect but worth buying a cute Halloween costume for!
