I have very curly hair so I usually shampoo and dry it in the morning because when I sleep on my curls it becomes very unmanageable. Worse, to my dismay, now that I've let it grow out, when my curls get too unruly, my rosy scalp shows. I have washed my hair three times with this shampoo. I shampooed last night in exchange. This morning my hair looked perfect, the curls were soft and comfortably relaxed, no trace of scalp - and that was before brushing or styling. My hair has always been soft, but now it feels like clouds. This shampoo has a very low odor which I like, nice texture and lathers well. It contains both panthenol and vitamin E, which is very beneficial for those of us with aging hair. I am very happy with it.
