UPDATE 2019 10 03 UPDATE! I forgot to bring the outdoor sensor inside before the building was pressure washed. My goodness oh my god I was insane when I found it in a puddle of water on my balcony with the battery cover removed and the batteries next to the sensor. I first put it in the sun while I was doing housework, took it with me and left it overnight. This morning I put new batteries in and what I saw to my surprise should appear, but an accurate reading! (Still inside so I knew what to expect.) I'm so happy! What a fantastic product. (As I type, I see a flash sale!) Grab some! Good product! exactly or better than described. The old wired receiver lived the good life but gave up the ghost. Found this one when buying a replacement. Month of ownership, no complaints. One receiver outside, one in the freezer, one in the fridge. For those around me, the unexpected ability to monitor the performance of the refrigerator in my home made this device a worthwhile and profitable investment. It does not come with AAA batteries, which are required for all devices.
