Although it is a lightweight vacuum cleaner, it is easy to handle. The suction power is also low. This is not for deep cleaning. It doesn't pick up pet hair and my rug has a lot of pet hair. What he did was pick up the leftover carpet powder that had been sprinkled on the carpet a few weeks ago and the crumbs on the tiled floor. You would think if he picked it up he would definitely be picking up pet hair. (smh) no, not from the carpet or anything else. The suction power is practically non-existent. However, it easily picks up crumbs or the like from parquet or lanolin floors. But when dirt gets stuck on the carpet, this vacuum doesn't pick it up at all. So if he doesn't clean the carpet in the house, how is he supposed to clean the carpet in the car? I would not recommend this item. Just FYI, no matter what nozzle is used or what setting this vacuum has, it doesn't change the performance of this vacuum. If anyone has had a good experience with this item, I'm not surprised. Not everyone is looking for the same performance or needs the best. While I wouldn't recommend it, it might work for someone else.
