Review on TeHenoo Textured Glass Industrial Ceiling Light For Hallway, Foyer, Bedroom And More by Rob Marsh

good for bedrooms, best I've found like this

Of the fixtures in this style that I've bought, this is the best I've found. The first was similar, but it wasn't flush mount. (I put it over the front door instead since the ceiling is slanted there, which is what semi-flush fixtures are for). The second came in a pair, but the style wasn't great, and the globes were too large. This fixture met my needs. Simple, not oversized or undersized, and only uses one bulb. The bulb faces downwards and the globe is open at the bottom, making it easy to change and preventing any heat from causing ceiling damage (a significant problem if you have plaster textured ceilings). You still might get damage if you're still using filament bulbs, but if you've switched to much cooler running LED bulbs, then a downward facing fixture like this should eliminate that problem entirely.I wanted the brass colored ring to match one original fixture in the house that I might not get rid of, but all the other fixtures I've bought were solid black and look fine, so I maybe should have got these or ones like this in solid black, but that aside, I'm 100% satisfied with this fixture.I installed two of these, each in a bedroom. Would have been three, but one bedroom has a ceiling fan instead of a standard fixture, which I'm going to replace with another fan later instead.

Pros
  • Easy to install. I didn’t expect this light pattern but I’m very happy with it.
Cons
  • The light bulb may be difficult to replace due to the tight space
