Good packaging, good glue, defective part.

I installed the digitizer and everything worked fine for a while. I noticed a few "dead zones" where the digitizer wasn't responding, and some unwanted activity on the right side (it seemed like I was repeatedly tapping the right side of the screen when actually I wasn't ). I must have received the wrong part. .
