That's a good idea: an Echo Dot mount that hangs over an outlet. I took this wall mount out of the box and after about 2 minutes my Echo Dot was in and hanging on the wall. I used the bottom outlet so the top outlet can still be used. The mount I have is white only. I suppose it would have been better to have a black mount with my black/charcoal Echo Dot, but it doesn't matter. The main thing is that it works and I love it because it eliminates messy/ugly visible cords and saves space in my basement kitchen.
