My Lenovo G780 computer, purchased in 2012, started to show signs of decreasing battery capacity. After a thorough research on Best Buy for a battery to replace the Lenovo L09L6Y02 and I decided on this NinjaBatt. As soon as I received the new battery I plugged it in and I let the battery charge for over 2 hours. Then I powered up the computer and as soon as I logged in I was presented with a message from Lenovo Energy Management saying that the capacity of the battery I am using is now 40% of the original state and it was recommended that I replace the battery.I went into the Lenovo Energy Management to check the battery info and even though the battery was charged to 100% the status said Exhausted.I then launched the Lenovo Vantage app and it showed the battery charged 100% but degraded, recommending to be replaced.I tried to use the Lenovo Energy Management to reset the battery but after about 6 hours it was still at the first stage (full charging) even though the battery showed 100%. It never got to the discharge stage. At this point I installed the original Lenovo L09L6Y02 battery and everything got back to normal: - The Lenovo Energy Management showed the status as Good. - The Lenovo Vantage app shows the battery in good condition. - The Energy Management battery reset functions the way it should: Full Charge then Discharge. It looks like either the NinjaBatt has a problem or that the Lenovo system doesn't like third party batteries. Either way it is of no use to me so I am returning it for a refund. Sorry NinjaBatt!
