I just bought a new Yeti mic and while it's great, it picks up the sound SO PERFECTLY. So if I wasn't careful, it picked up every bit of background noise, namely the noise from my fans in the room. I would have to turn off both fans in my room to have a clean record with me. I have a buddy who also had a Yeti and sent me a link to buy this windscreen for my mic and thanks to Revain's easy return policy I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it. I'm glad I did this and it works great! Now my mic picks up my voice clearly without picking up fans and other background noise that might occur. As expensive as these Yeti mics are, it's worth investing a few bucks more in a windscreen.
