Dots OK, I'll stick around

Sometimes just a dot of Velcro does the trick. In practice, though, these don't always stick well. The plastic backing they are attached to becomes a little unmanageable - you have to keep cutting it back, and keeping the rolls rolled up is a challenge - I use rubberbands. Also, the dots aren't placed on the backing squarely - they're at an angle, so when you want to cut out just the portion you need, you can't just cut off a square chunk. and you can't just cut straight through the dots because they overlap a bit. You have to jigsaw your way to cut out a single strip of dots.

Pros

I like for my projects that do for my kid in my care do a lot of flannels activities.

Cons

The dots may not be easy to cut to size

The velcro is much stronger than the glue, which means that I end up with little circles where my stuff used to be.
