Review on Gentlemen's Blend Beard Balm (Bourbon Scent) by GRAVE BEFORE SHAVE (2 oz.) - Boost Your Beard with Style and Fragrance by Meghan Frye

Not a big fan. I didn't throw it away; I use it to the end, but after using 75% of the can, here are my thoughts: 1. It must smell like bourbon. It is not. Not even a little bit. I like bourbon. A lot of. It doesn't smell like bourbon. Not little.2. That's rough. I have no idea what kind of substance it is that takes too much aggressive rubbing to dissolve, but every morning I train by rubbing the wrong thing. I understand that beard balm needs to be warmed up and melted in your hands on a cold day. But it's like there are little bits of sand in the mix that only melt if you rub a bottle of gin for a long time. It's not as smooth and soft as other balms I've tried. This makes the beard stiffer and at the same time less manageable. Sorry...can't recommend this option. This gets three stars because I use it to the end. It wasn't so bad that I sent it back or threw it away. But I can't wait for it to go away.
