Just received these but I think they will be very serviceable until I can have the set reupholstered. They are stretchy but not as stretchy as previous ones I have had but better sized that ones order just before that, even though the dimensions stated, did not anyway come close to the right size. These fit snug. My chairs are at the maximum of the range of inches for the seat and the back height. The snugness is actually better as they do not move around too much when sitting on them. The color, solid wine red, is just as pictured and vibrant. The fabric is thick enough to fully cover without any see through. I can not testify to how they wash as I have not yet washed them. I will use cold water because I don't want to take the chance they will shrink any. For the price, they seem a good value.
